Here’s a brief description for the most popular courses offered by St. John Ambulance Ontario for individuals and workplaces. They can be customized to your specific needs and are designed to meet industry, business and government requirements. We look forward to hearing from you soon.

Standard First Aid - CPR Level A + AED

  • Comprehensive first aid training, including CPR for adults and automated external defibrillation (AED).
  • Popular with business and industry for training employees.
  • Students receive St. John Ambulance First Aid Reference Guide (400 pages in colour).
  • WSIB and Canadian Labour Code certificate issued upon successful completion.

Standard First Aid - CPR Level C + AED

  • Two-day course in all First Aid skills.
  • Covers first aid for other injuries and illnesses, including head and spinal injuries, fractures of the upper and lower limbs.
  • Includes Level C CPR training and certification (Adult, Child, and Infant) and AED training and certification.
  • Prerequisite for medical, dental, nursing, police, fire and ambulance programs.
  • WSIB and Canadian Labour Code certificate issued upon successful completion.

Standard First Aid - CPR Level HCP (Health Care Provider)

  • For anyone who works or plans to work in the Health Care field, who requires the Health Care Provider level of CPR.
  • Covers all CPR skills plus advanced skills such as artificial respiration and use of bag valve masks and AEDs.
  • WSIB and Canadian Labour Code certificate issued upon successful completion.

Emergency First Aid (Level A) - CPR + AED

  • Perfect for workplaces with fewer than five employees.
  • Provides basic first aid training, and includes CPR for adults and automated external defibrillation (AED).
  • Students receive St. John Ambulance First Aid Reference Guide (400 pages in colour).
  • WSIB and Canadian Labour Code certificate issued upon successful completion.

Emergency First Aid (Level C) - CPR + AED

  • For anyone working where children are present.
  • Great for new parents, babysitters, grandparents and nannies.
  • Popular with workplaces having fewer than five employees.
  • Provides basic first aid training and includes CPR for adults, infants and children, and automated external defibrillation (AED).
  • Students receive St. John Ambulance First Aid Reference Guide (400 pages in colour).
  • WSIB and Canadian Labour Code certificate issued upon successful completion.
